EtherChamps 2017+
In late 2017, I started working on a new side project. It originally started as a social site for crypto investing (similar to what stocktwits is for traditional investing). From there, I added predictions, accuracy evaluation and scoring of user posts. Since I had some of the required tech already built to evaluate user predictions, I did a larger pivot and focused more on user competitions and fantasy investing.
This project was built with scalability in mind, included redis caching, scalable docker swarms to sotre prices, process data, generate competitions, etc. The site also includes a full "exchange-style" Ethereum deposit and withdrawl system that allows user to fund their account and withdraw winnings.
